Flute view

Click a hole to open or close it. Drag a hole to change its position. Enable pitch-preserving drag to adjust its diameter while maintaining the active view's frequency.

Pitch solver

Enter a frequency or legacy note name such as A3 or C#4, select the geometric variable, then solve for the target.

Views and scales

Fingering views share flute geometry but keep independent hole states and registers. The scale editor stores up to 30 printable fingerings.

Files

Open and save the original INI-style .flu files. The browser warns before discarding unsaved changes.

Keyboard shortcuts

Use Ctrl+O to open, Ctrl+S to save, Ctrl+I to insert a hole, Ctrl+R to remove the active hole, Ctrl+F to add a fingering view, and F1 for Help.

Profile

The profile editor supports three interior and exterior segments using linear, parabolic, exponential, logarithmic, or inverse curves.
